djay

djay is an application for DJs that can just as easily be used to make remixes and home recordings as it can be for live performances.

It stands out from other, similar tools thanks to the inclusion of a new control system based on the trackpad, that allows you to interact with the turntables in the program's interface by scratching and improving the transition between two tracks (crossfade).

It integrates fully with your iTunes library and allows you to change tracks by dragging and dropping them onto the turntable. There's even an automatic mode that can combine melodies randomly or with a theme, just like a person would. The loops and insertion points that you'll establish will be displayed visually over the vinyls.
